Ory Zik
CEO
Ory has extensive leadership experience in renewable energy and energy efficiency. Previous roles include co-founder and CEO of Heliofocus. The company developed solar thermal solutions for conventional power plants; founding CEO of Energy Points an analytical engine for environmental performance and Founding CEO of Quantomix. The company was the first to visualize live cells in an electron microscope. He received his Ph.D in Physics from the Weizmann Institute of Science.
Asaf Vos
CFO
Asaf brings 15+ years of financial leadership in global private and public companies in the Manufacturing, Engineering and Telecom sectors. Asaf’s experience includes a number of successful mergers and acquisitions. Previous roles include CFO at Baran Americas - A subsidiary of Baran Group Ltd (BRAN.TV) and Financial Director at IMERYS Refractory, Abrasive and Construction - A division of IMERYS SA (NK.PA). He holds a B.A. in Accounting and Economics from Ben Gurion University.
Isaac Garaway
CTO
Isaac has decades of experience in innovative energy devices focusing on resonant free piston Stirling under his belt. Previous positions include co-founder and CTO of Ricor Solar. With many years of activity within energy-related industries, Dr. Garaway has extensive experience in applying pioneering energy technologies into real-life applications and products. He holds multiple patents covering topics related to power conversion and thermal mechanics as well as a Ph.D in the field of energy from the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology).
Dan Midea
VP, Sales and Marketing
Dan brings over 30 years of experience building sales distribution within the energy industry. Prior to joining Qnergy, Dan served as the U.S. Sales Manager at Gentherm Global Power Technologies. Additionally, he previously built and managed the U.S. sales operations for Global Thermoelectric Inc. Dan studies for his M.B.A. from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
Jack Augenblick
Chief Engineer
Jack has more than 25 years’ worth of experience in the engineering industry and is one of the world’s leading experts in Stirling engine technology. His previous work experience includes being the Principal Engineer at the Infinia Company, as well as a Senior Engineer at both the Stirling Technology Company and Boeing and since then has contributed heavily to the successful development of the commercial Stirling engine. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Timothy Atwater
BioMethane General Manager
Timothy brings over 15 years of operational leadership experience. Prior to joining Qnergy, he served as the Midwest Area Post Collection Manager at Republic Services, where he provided oversight and leadership for 12 landfills and 38 transfer stations across Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. Timothy has also held operational leadership roles at United Airlines and in the U.S. Navy, where he specialized in nuclear propulsion. He holds a B.S. in Sustainability Engineering Management from St. Petersburg College and an M.B.A. from Texas A&M University.
Ben Tuttle
VP, Operations
Ben brings more than two decades of design and manufacturing experience as VP of Operations at Qnergy. Previously, he held positions in engineering, leadership, and project management within the defense and medical device industries, including GE Healthcare. Ben has a wealth of experience leading cross-functional teams, driving complex projects from concept to completion, and delivering innovative, high-quality solutions in highly regulated environments. He received his Masters in Biomedical and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah.
