Nachman Pundak

Board Chairman, Qnergy

Nachman has been board chairman of Qnergy since 2011. Previously he was at Ricor for over 4 decades serving in various roles including General Manager. In addition to his chief role the Qnergy board, Nachman also serves as a member on the Kibutz Economic Committee and Ricor’s board of directors. His deep technical experience in Free Piston Stirling Engines has contributed significantly to Qnergy’s proven technology. Nachman holds both a B.S. and M.S. from Technion, Haifa, Israel.

Jonathan Yellen

Investment Director, Climate Investment

Jon brings more than 25 years of experience raising and deploying capital and providing strategic advice for infrastructure projects and their owners to Climate Investment. A primary focus throughout his career has been on energy transition companies. Prior to working in financial services, Jon was an infantry officer in the US Marine Corps. He received an B.A. in Economics and Japanese from the University of Michigan and an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Avraham Levin

Partner, Tene Investment Funds

Avraham has more than 15 years of investment experience in the private equity sector. He joined Tene in February 2006 as an investment professional with a strong background in economics and physics. Along with general investment roles and responsibilities, Mr. Levin served as Tene's liaison for technology in the relevant portfolio companies. In 2014 he became a Partner in Tene. He holds a B.A. in Economics and an M.S. in Physics from Tel Aviv University.

Ariel Halperin

Senior Managing Partner

Ariel founded Tene Investment Funds in 2004, together with Eyal Attia and Dori Brown. From 1992 through 2000, Dr. Halperin led the ‘Kibbutzim Creditor Arrangement’, as the trustee for the Israeli government, Israeli banks, and the Kibbutzim. During his tenure, he formulated many comprehensive financial programs. Ariel holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Hebrew University, and completed post-doctoral work at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in industrial organization and finance.

Jacob Kaplan

CPA, Advocate (LL.M)

Jacob has decades of experience in the financial industry. Before this he served as Chairman for Kibbutz Givat Brenner, as cofounder and CFO at Blueconomy Center, and CEO of both Gilad Governet Relations & Lobbying and Via Akadia. In addition to serving on Qnergy’s boards, Jacob is also a board member on behalf of Ein Harod Ihud Holdings for Ricor, Palbam, Kiroskay, Netzer, and Aero-Magnesium. Jacob earned a B.S. in Accounting and Economics from Tel Eviv University, a Bachelor of Law (LLB) from Ono Academic College, and a Masters of Law (LLM) from Bar-llan University.

Daniel Palmer

Managing Director of Commercialization, Climate Investment

Daniel brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the energy sector, specifically in oil, gas, and renewable energy generation. He spent more than 20 years at Schlumberger in various roles across the globe, working across operations, marketing, and technical positions. He has since worked for and founded technology startups in solar energy, and mining geoscience. He holds numerous patents and has widely published in oil and gas, solar, and mining technology. Palmer is currently managing director of commercialization for the energy sector at Climate Investment. He holds a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Cambridge.
