Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, the U.S. Rocky Mountain Sales Manager is responsible for outside sales and business development in the States of Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, California, Oregon, Alaska and Washington. In addition, the position will provide as-needed backup and support of sales efforts in all Qnergy sales territories.  The U.S. Rocky Mountain Sales Manager will create and execute sales and service plans for the identified territories and will ensure that all work carried out is in alignment with the goals and objectives of the overall business.

The U.S. Rocky Mountain Sales Manager is responsible for top line sales into the territory noted above while maintaining overall margin targets.

Specific responsibilities include the following:

  • Responsible for the formulation and execution of sales and plans for the U.S. Rocky Mountain territory
  • Supporting and often leading Business development efforts with Telecom and Oil & Gas companies in the U.S. Rocky Mountains and West Coast.
  • Maintain and enhance existing customer relationships, as well as develop new customers.
  • Maintain and enhance Qnergy’s image and reputation with customers, distributors, suppliers, and the public at large
  • Identify potential new market segments and new customers for Qnergy
  • Work closely with distributors to ensure full support in markets; continuous evaluation of performance of distributors; initiation of any required changes in distributors
  • Increase overall awareness of Qnergy products by travelling to facilitate face-to-face contact, participation in industry trade shows, field visits and other promotional methods as required
  • Process customer purchase orders, including review and approval of conversion of PO into internal sales orders
